FIVE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Five people plead guilty and were sentenced in District Court this week by Judge Carson Campbell.

Christine Ann Tomczak, 46 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was also sentenced to 223 days in state jail for Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Kevin Britton, 59 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or More offences.

Arturo Enrique Gandara, 28 of Brenham, was sentenced to 112 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Perryetta Luyre Escobar, 43 of Brenham, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, and perform 200 hours of community service.

Jerry Robert Royal McDaniel, 32 of Katy, was sentenced to 1 day in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $2000 fine.
