BURTON ISD ELECTION DRAWS 38 EARLY VOTERS THROUGH THREE DAYS
Early voting in the Burton ISD school board election is currently outpacing previous years’ elections.
According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 11 people voted on Wednesday. There have been 38 early voters through three days.
In comparison, the May 2023 trustee election drew 34 voters through the first three days, while the May 2021 election had 24 voters in that timeframe.
Early voting continues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Washington County Courthouse Annex through Tuesday, though there will not be voting over the weekend.
Election Day is Saturday, May 4th.
