WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING, VOTE ON COUNTY CLERK ARCHIVE PLAN

A public hearing and vote for the Washington County Clerk’s records archive plan leads an otherwise light agenda for county commissioners on Tuesday.

The county is required each year to approve the plan, which is for the preservation and restoration of archived records.  The plan collects fees from the filing of documents with the county, such as deeds or contracts.

Later, commissioners will act on a contract for a TimeClock Plus software subscription for the Human Resources Department.

The court will then move into monthly reports, hearing from the sheriff’s office, county and district clerks, justices of the peace, auditor, tax assessor-collector, treasurer, constables, elections and veterans service office.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
