BRENHAM CUB BAND SHINES AT KATY MARCHING CONTEST

  

The Brenham Cub Band had a strong performance during its annual marching contest this past Saturday in Katy.

The band previewed its show, “The Promise of a New Day”, on Friday prior to the Brenham Cub homecoming football game.

Band Director Eric Rettig says in the preliminaries, the band received awards for drum majors, guard, percussion, woodwinds and brass.  It was also named the outstanding 5A band.

The Cub Band advanced to the open class finals, where it achieved 10th place.

Next up will be a UIL contest on Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:45 a.m. at Daikin Stadium in Waller.
