BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING TO CONSIDER REPLAT FOR PHASE TWO OF WILKINS VALLEY SUBDIVISION
The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will take up an item on Monday for the second phase of the Wilkins Valley subdivision.
The plat for the first phase of the development, located on West Jefferson Street east of North Dixie Street, was approved in July. The owners, Clayton and Kellie Collier, are ready to proceed with phase two of the development, so a replat of the subject 7.67 acres into 41 individual single-family lots is needed.
City staff recommends approval of the residential replat.
The full development is slated to contain 116 single-family homes. In March, the Brenham City Council approved a change in zoning for 28.09 acres of the property, from a single-family residential district to a planned development district. The city has received comments in the past from residents in the area who are concerned about added traffic.
The commission will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
