Brenham High School participated in a drill meet at William B. Travis High School in Richmond against 15 schools.

Brenham ISD says for the first time in recent memory, the team swept both divisions and special recognitions.  Brenham secured first place in inspection, regulation, color guard and exhibition across the armed and unarmed divisions.

The honors for best armed and unarmed regulation commander went to Allison Mendoza and Valeria Alfaro.  Dylan Guerrero and Jaqueline Salinas were named best armed and unarmed color guard commander, respectively.

Next, the MCJROTC will host a drill meet at Brenham High School on Saturday, January 11th.  Captain Jeffrey Bayse says the Brenham program will perform but will not compete for trophies.  The event is scheduled to have 19 schools participating.
