It’s the same thing with the baseball broadcast! Stats would be great…and a post game rundown as well!
Would really like to see some simple statistics, like Won-Lost record for both team and indivIidual (pitcher)
running batting avg, pitching records, box scores ,etc.
Do we not want to embarrass a below average individualsl?
Is it school or is it KWHI? The reader has no context to gauge above average?
Been following MaxPreps for years, we don’t give them any information or statistics in the recent few?
Back in the early 70’s when I was in high school the local paper used to publish all statistics (pitchers won loss record, ERA, innings pitched, strikeouts, walks, etc as well as batting averages, number of doubles triple home runs, runs batted in and more. These were published before district started and at the end of the season which at that time was after a long run in the playoffs, Then, our society entered the “Snowflake politically correct” era where we avoid hurting anyone’s feelings or self esteem at all costs. And, no more statistics.
