CHARGES FOR FOUR ARRESTED BY BRENHAM PD OVER WEEKEND INCLUDE MARIJUANA POSSESSION, DWI, PAROLE VIOLATION
Four people were arrested by Brenham police this weekend on various charges.
Just before 11:15 p.m. Friday, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of South Chappell Hill Street. According to police, their investigation revealed that the driver, 50-year-old Johnny Evans of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana and did not have a driver’s license. Evans was placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and No Driver’s License.
Approaching 12:45 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 300 block of East Academy Street for a motorist assist. After investigation, 24-year-old Jose Andres Ramirez-Garcia of Somerville was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.
At 2:45 a.m., Officer Downs was dispatched to the 200 block of South Baylor Street regarding a welfare concern. Police say an individual identified as 21-year-old Jay Travis Turner of Hilltop Lakes was in possession of marijuana. Turner was booked in at the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
Around 8 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 2400 block of Stone Hollow Drive for a disturbance. Upon further investigation, 25-year-old Ralph Eddie Kallie II of Brenham was taken into custody for Parole Violation out of Austin and Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
