CITY OF BRENHAM OPENS ‘MOVIES IN THE PARK’ SERIES MONDAY

  

The City of Brenham kicks off its 16th edition of “Movies in the Park” tonight (Monday).

The first of three summer movies will be shown at Fireman’s Park, beginning at 6 p.m.  Tonight’s film is “Mufasa: The Lion King”.

The city is partnering with Gather ‘n Grace for the event to serve free burgers, chips and drinks from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  Kona Ice will be onsite with snow cones.

Sponsors include Kelli Dozier State Farm, Strand Associates, KTEX/KWHI and the City of Brenham. 

The “Movies in the Park” series continues on July 3rd with the showing of “Finding Nemo” at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and wraps up on August 1st with “Moana 2” at Henderson Park.
