‘MOVIES IN THE PARK’ OPENS MONDAY AT FIREMAN’S PARK
The City of Brenham kicks off another year of “Movies in the Park” tonight (Monday).
Three movies will be shown at Brenham’s local parks this summer, beginning tonight with “Mufasa: The Lion King” at Fireman’s Park at 6 p.m. The event was initially planned for last week but had to be rescheduled.
As part of the event, Gather ‘n Grace will serve free barbecue sandwiches, drinks and dessert from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Sponsors include Kelli Dozier State Farm, Strand Associates, KTEX/KWHI and the City of Brenham.
The next summer movies will be “Finding Nemo” on July 3rd at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and “Moana 2” on August 1st at Henderson Park.
