90 PROOF COUNTRY TO PERFORM FOR THIRD WEEK OF ‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’

  

The music of legendary country music artists of the ‘90s will fill downtown Brenham tomorrow (Saturday) for the third edition of “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes”.

90 PROOF Country, based out of Dallas-Fort Worth, will play generation-defining country classics, from boot-stomping anthems to lively dance tunes.  The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the corner of Alamo and Baylor Streets. 

Food and refreshments will be offered by local businesses and vendors.  A variety of vehicles will be on display during the Stray Katz Car Club’s cruise-in on Alamo Street.

The concert is hosted by the City of Brenham and Main Street Brenham.  Sponsors are Woodson Lumber Company, Blue Bell Creameries, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and Citizens State Bank.

The Summer Showcase, hosted by the Visit Brenham Washington County Destination Marketing Organization, will feature music from the Blaggards from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Alamo Alley.  The Blaggards blend rock ‘n roll with traditional Irish music and Texas attitude. Free Blue Bell ice cream floats will be served while supplies last.

The concerts are free and open to all.
