MONDAY LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER ELECTION
Washington County residents are reminded that Monday is the last day to register to vote in the November 4th general election.
Those wishing to vote in the election can register in person by going to the Washington County Voter Registrar’s Office in the Washington County Courthouse.
Their business hours are 8am-5pm.

On the ballot for the elections are the two Brenham ISD Bond issues.
Proposition A is for a $39 million bond to help fund high priority capital improvement projects at several campuses in the school district.
Measure A is a voter approval tax rate election, which is for a property tax increase to fund teacher and staff pay raises, as well as operational needs.
There are also 17 amendments to the Texas Constitution on the ballot as well.
