CUBETTE SOCCER SHUTS OUT RUDDER 4-0 ON SENIORS NIGHT

The Brenham Cubette Soccer Team had a double celebration last (Friday) night at Cub Stadium. The Cubettes honored their seniors for all their hard work over the past four years, and then they proceeded to beat Bryan Rudder 4-0.

Alayna Allen scored the first two goals in the first half of the game, and gave Brenham a 2-0 lead at halftime.

The Cubettes tacked on two more goals in the second half. Romi Gonzalez scored on a corner kick, and Denali Washington later scored off a penalty kick.

The win improved Brenham to 10-2-1 overall, and 2-2-1 in District 17-5A.

The Cubettes also honored their Senior Class, which includes: Denali Washington, Alyce Sheets, Alayna Allen, RoseAleeya Hernandez, Romi Gonzalez, Krysta Stevenson, Teagan Vaughn, Kaylen Williams, and Bronwyn Hunter.

Next up, the Cubettes will wrap up the first half of district play by going to Lake Creek on Tuesday. The JV play at 5pm, followed by the Varsity at 7pm.
