HARDWOOD HUSTLE 7TH GRADERS WIN FIRST PLACE IN ROAD TO NATIONALS TOURNAMENT

Hardwood Hustle's 7th Grade Girls Team recently won first place at a "Road to Nationals" tournament in Round Rock.

In the championship game, the Brenham 2031 group trailed by 10+ points for the majority of the game until late in the fourth quarter. The Coaches said, "We are proud of this group for their competitive spirit, teamwork, and demonstrating true courage and resiliency."

Bailey Thomas was named as the tournament MVP, and she, Addelyn Cunningham, and Kaisley Dahse were named to the All-Tournament Team.

They finished with a 5-0 outing at the Austin Classic.

The team is coach by David Cunningham and Justin Dahse.
