TEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Ten people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.

34-year-old Ramsey Lee Randall Jr. of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Assault Intentionally/Recklessly Impeding Breath/Circulation of a Family Member with Previous Conviction, a second degree felony enhanced to a first degree felony.  Randall also had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a third degree felony.  The court affirmed a family violence finding.

35-year-old Kevin Wayne Young of Hempstead, sentenced to 180 days in state jail on both cases of Burglary of a Building and Theft of Copper, both state jail felonies.  Young was also ordered to pay $5,184 in restitution.

41-year-old D-Troy O’Brian Smith of Brenham, sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath/Circulation, a third degree felony.  Smith will also have to pay a $2,500 fine and a $50 crime stoppers fee, in addition to performing 150 hours of community service, completing a batterers intervention program and maintaining no contact with the victim in the case.  The court affirmed a family violence finding.

35-year-old Norberto Zamora of Houston, sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Other Felony, a first degree felony.  Zamora was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and a $50 crime stoppers fee.  Additionally, he must spend 232 days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation, perform 180 hours of community service, complete a batterers intervention program and a drug offender education program, and maintain no contact with the victim in the case.  The court affirmed a family violence finding. 

20-year-old Lucas Miceli of Brenham, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.  He also received 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for two cases of Theft of a Firearm, both state jail felonies.  Per Miceli’s sentence, he must pay a $500 fine, a $180 lab fee and a $50 crime stoppers fee.  He must also complete an anti-theft program and a drug offender education program.

29-year-old Alineicia Nichole Ewing of Washington, sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.  Ewing will also have to pay a $500 fine, a $180 lab fee and a $50 crime stoppers fee, in addition to performing 100 hours of community service and completing a drug offender education program.

35-year-old Freddy Garcia of Houston, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Publishing/Threatening to Publish Intimate Visual Material, a state jail felony.  Garcia was also fined $1,000 and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service, complete a drug offender education program and maintain no contact with the victim in the case.

28-year-old Isaiah Treymahn Washington of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Deadly Conduct, a Class A misdemeanor.  Washington will also have to pay a $500 fine and a $50 crime stoppers fee, perform 100 hours of community service and maintain no contact with the victim in the case. 

68-year-old Brian Keith McCoy of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, a Class A misdemeanor.  McCoy must also pay a $500 fine and a $50 crime stoppers fee and perform 100 hours of community service.  The court affirmed a family violence finding. 

19-year-old Rachel Michelle Harrison of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Attempting to Take a Weapon from an Officer, a Class A misdemeanor.  Harrison was also ordered to pay a $50 crime stoppers fee and perform 50 hours of community service.
