BURTON VOLLEYBALL OPENS UP DISTRICT 25-2A PLAY WITH A SWEEP OVER SOMERVILLE

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team opened up District 25-2A play last (Tuesday) night with a three-set sweep over the Somerville Lady Yeguas.

Burton won the sets by scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-15.

For the Lady Panthers, Madalyn Henry led the way with 11 kills and eight digs. Kinsey Lunbeck finished with ten kills, five digs, and three aces.

Natalie Hodde had seven kills and six digs.

Adison Harmel led the defense with 14 digs.

Laci Broesche added another double-double with 27 assists and 10 digs.

Next up, Burton will continue district play on Friday when they travel to Mumford. The Varsity will open at 4pm, followed by the JV afterwards.
