BURTON VOLLEYBALL STAYS UNBEATEN IN DISTRICT WITH A WIN OVER MUMFORD

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team stayed unbeaten in District 25-2A play with a 3-1 road victory over the Mumford Lady Mustangs.

Mumford won the first set 25-23. However, Burton came back to win the next three sets 25-18, 25-18, and 25-18.

Madalyn Henry led Burton on offense with 22 kills, and she also had 18 digs on defense.

Kinsey Lunbeck finished with 17 kills, while Natalie Hodde reached a double-double with ten kills and eight digs.

Adison Harmel led the defense with 28 digs.

Laci Broesche dished out 54 assists, and had nine digs as well.

The win improves Burton to 24-10 overall and 2-0 in district.
