BRITTON SETS HIS FIRST TITLE DEFENSE

Jahyden Franklin Britton has set the first defense of his WBA/NABA Silver Super Middleweight Championship.

Britton, a 2023 Brenham High School graduate who has been a professional boxer for the last two years, will be defending the title on Friday, October 23 at the BiYu Arena in Houston against Louis Hernandez.

The match is part of the "BiYu Brawl 8" card that evening.

Britton, 21, is off to a 10-0 start to his career with six knockouts. He captured the Silver Super Middleweight Championship (168lb. weight class) back in August when he won a unanimous eight round decision over Bruno Pola Ruiz at Constellation Field in Sugarland.

Hernandez, 32, is fighting out of Forest, Mississippi. He is 13-5-1 with 10 knockouts in his career.
