BURTON FOOTBALL STEAMROLLS SNOOK 56-0 FOR THIRD STRAIGHT DISTRICT WIN
The Burton Panther Football Team continued to work their way through the district competition in dominant fashion as they shutout the Snook Blue Jays 56-0 on Friday night.
Kayden Patterson got the scoring started on a 25-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter. Ashton Fuller kicked the extra point to give Burton the early 7-0 lead. It was the first of five touchdowns that the Panthers would score during the twelve-minute period.
For their second scoring play, Patterson would find Braydon Martin on a four-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0 Burton.
Lawrence Allen ran one into the end zone from a yard out to increase the lead to 21-0.

Then, Patterson took part more in two more scoring plays. First, he connected with Logun Tosta on a 47-yard touchdown pass, and then later he would take one in from five yards out to give Burton a 35-0 edge at the end of the first quarter.
The Panthers got on the board in the second quarter on a nine-yard touchdown run by Hudson Frank. Tosta followed that by running in the two-point conversion to give Burton a 43-0 lead.
Patterson added one more touchdown before halftime on a 65-yard touchdown run. That along with another Fuller PAT made it a 50-0 lead at halftime.
Burton added one more touchdown in the third quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Hadlee Reed. The extra point try was no good, but the Panthers still led 56-0.
Patterson ended up with five touchdowns; two passing, two rushing, and a punt return.
