LICENSED HANDGUN OWNERS STAND GUARD AT MARINE RECRUITING STATION

  

Local Washington County concealed handgun license holders are conducting Arm Our Eagles Campaign today at the downtown Brenham Marine Corps recruiting office on 104 S St. Charles Street.

Approximately thirty persons are scheduled to participate in the watch, which runs throughout the day.

2-3 Dewayne Gajewski, Wesley Porter, William Hueber

3-4 Finney, Marshall ,Randy Power, Word Whitehead

4-5 Mike Deans, Roland Overman,Derrick Estep

John Deans, the leader of the campaign, says the goal of this campaign is to show support for our armed forces housed in government facilities that restrict them from having firearms to protect themselves from active shooters such as the event in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The group also wants to have rescinded the 1992 executive order put in place by the Clinton administration that disarms military personnel in offices such as recruiting stations on American soil.
