BRENHAM POLICE RESPOND TO REPORT OF CREDIT CARD ABUSE

  

The Brenham Police responded to a report of credit card abuse on Thursday evening. The caller reported that she received a letter from Valero Credit Services, notifying her that there were suspicious charges on her account.

She reported that she lost her credit card, but didn’t notice it was missing until approximately August 18th or 19th. She never called to report it, because she thought she had simply misplaced it. The suspicious charges on the card were made in the Houston area.

The investigation is still underway.
