CHAPPELL HILL CHAMBER SEEKING BIDS FOR OFFICIAL PARADE GUNNER

  

The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is seeking an “Official Parade Gunner”, a position that will be reserved for the highest bidder for this year’s 41st Annual Independence Day parade.

The official start of the parade has featured a cannon for years, thought recently the Chamber engaged the community by offering up this special honor to the highest bidder. In the past, they’ve had grandkids, veterans, and various members of the community serve as the “Official Gunner”.

Chappell Hill’s Chamber is excited to announce that they are offering this unique opportunity once again, and anyone wanting to bid for the “Official Gunner” title must submit a bid form which can be found on their website (www.chappellhilltx.com) and either mail it in, drop it off at their office or email it by Noon this Saturday, July 1st.

The “Official Gunner” title is more unique opportunity that anyone can take part... and not only make their Independence Day memorable, but support the Chamber of Commerce in promoting Chappell Hill.

The winner will receive a commemorative tri-corner hat, model black-powder field salute cannon and scroll proclaiming that they are the official parade gunner for the day.

Bid forms can be either mailed to P.O. Box 113, Chappell Hill, Texas 77426, dropped off at the Chamber office located at 9000 Hwy. 290 East, Chappell Hill, or by email to: joel.romo@texanapublicaffairs.com.
