BLINN AND SAM HOUSTON ST. FORM NURSING PARTNERSHIP

  

The Blinn College Nursing Program and Sam Houston State University School of Nursing have launched a new option for students interested in pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.

Blinn nursing students can co-enroll at Sam Houston State and reduce the time necessary to complete their bachelor’s degree by up to six months.

A pilot group of 11 Blinn students began taking classes at SHSU this month.

Dean of Health Sciences for the Blinn College, Tom Lescarbeau, says Blinn’s ADN students can earn their BSNs at an accelerated pace, opening the door to additional career opportunities and leadership positions.”
