CUBS/PANTHERS TO KICK OFF 2019 FOOTBALL SEASON

The Cubs are beginning their second season under head coach Eliot Allen, and return a number of key players that led the team into the third round of the 2018 playoffs.

Allen says that these first few weeks, the Cubs must develop some depth…

Allen is most interested to see what the 2019 Cubs’ offense can do…

Kickoff is set for 7:30 at Magnolia West.  The game can be heard beginning at 7:00 on AM-1280 KWHI, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com.

The Cubs will host Waller next Friday night in their home opener.

The Burton Panthers open the 2019 campaign tonight when they host powerhouse Lexington.

Panthers’ head coach Jason Hodde says he and the team are really itching to get the 2019 season underway…

Despite the loss of some key members of last year’s team, Hodde says the Panthers do have a number of very talented returnees…

Kickoff to tonight’s season opener is 7:30 at Panther Stadium.
