WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
The Washington County Ladies Lions Club celebrated its 10th anniversary this week.
Past Club President Shirley Moehlmann presented 23 charter members with Milestone Chevron pins at the club’s meeting Monday at the Cannery Kitchen. The pins were awarded by Lions Club International Present Jung-Yul Choi.
Following an address from District 2S5 Governor Vance Elliott of Columbus, members were treated to cake and cookies, all with Lions logos.
The club was encouraged to find a camper for Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, where the club has donated over $20,000.
Club President Peggy Kramer presented a floral arrangement to the Cannery Kitchen chef for preparing the anniversary meal.
