WINNER NAMED TO OPEN CHAPPELL HILL PARADE
The winner has been announce in the bidding to serve as the “Official Parade Gunner” for the start of the Fourth of July parade in Chappell Hill.
The winning bid went to Washington County Precinct 2 Constable Butch & Betsy Faske for $350.00. They have asked the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Man of the Year, Aaron Griffith to serve as this year’s Parade Gunner in their place.
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the firing of the cannon, courtesy of Paula & Roger Imm.
This year’s Grand Marshals are Louis and Joycine Hanath of Chappell Hill.
