BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AUXILIARY MEMBERS RECEIVE HONORS

  

Members of the Brenham Fire Department and its Auxiliary were honored recently at the Central Texas Fireman’s and Fire Marshalls Association District Convention.

Brenham Fire Department Captain Josh Sebastian received the Firefighter of the Year honor at the Association Convention in Leander, while Sara Gresham received the Auxiliary Member of the Year award.  Both Sebastian and Gresham have grown up in the Brenham Fire Department with their fathers being firefighters for BFD.

Landon Flisowski of Brenham was elected to the position of Mascot for the District.  Landon is the son of Brenham Firefighter Lang Flisowski and Brenham Auxiliary Member Sharon Flisowski.  Landon will serve a 1 year term as the Mascot.  Sharon will also be serving as the President of the Central Texas Ladies Auxiliary for 2017-2018
