COLLEGE STATION WOMAN DIES AFTER COLLISION WITH GARBAGE TRUCK

  

A College Station woman has died after a collision with a garbage truck Thursday morning.

Authorities say 21-year-old Alannah Rose Ritch, of San Marcos, died after she was hit by a College Station garbage truck while riding her bicycle. She was a student at Texas A&M University.

While details have yet to emerge about exactly what took place, the accident happened in the Southside neighborhood just outside Texas A&M University.

The College Station Police Department Crime Scene Unit and Traffic Division are currently investigating the accident.
