CONGRESSMAN MICHAEL MCCAUL TO VISIT BRENHAM POLICE TODAY

  

Local U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, will travel to Brenham today (Tuesday) to visit the Brenham Police Department and other local officials.McCAUL FEATURE

Congressman McCaul represents Texas’ 10th Congressional District, which stretches from Austin to Houston. Brenham will be the fifth stop of an ongoing tour of the 10th District in support and appreciation of local law enforcement. McCaul says he felt called to go on this "Back the Blue" tour after recent events:

Congressman McCaul will also be attending a Local Emergency Preparedness Luncheon. McCaul says emergency preparedness isn't just important for active shooter situations or terrorist attacks, but also is important when it comes to things like Washington County's May flooding:

Congressman McCaul will end his day in Brenham with a tour of Independence Coffee Co.
