ROMANTIC MOVIES AT BARNHILL CENTER FOR VALENTINE’S

  

The Barnhill Center at the historic Simon Theater in Brenham has a pair of romantic movies and a special dinner planned prior to Valentine’s Day.

The Oscar nominated movie “La La Land” is coming to The Barnhill Center in downtown Brenham on Friday night, February 9th.  “La La Land” stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling as an actress and a jazz musician who find each other while pursuing their Hollywood dreams.  Tickets for the 8 p.m. showing on Friday, February 9th are available at www.thebarnhillcenter.com.

The following night, Saturday, February 10th, The Barnhill Center will host a special dinner and the movie “Dirty Dancing”.  A gourmet meal will be served in the Bullock Ballroom at 6:00 p.m., followed by the movie “Dirty Dancing” starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.  It’s the story of a young girl who, while spending the summer with her family at a Catskills resort, falls in love with the camp dance instructor.  Tickets are available for dinner and the movie, or just for the movie, at www.thebarnhillcenter.com.

Also scheduled for later in February on Saturday night, February 24th, Brenham native singer/songwriter Darden Smith returns for a concert at The Barnhill Center.
