10 SENTENCED IN 21ST JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT

  

A Houston man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Robbery—a second degree felony—in Brenham.

25-year-old Joshua Anderson Fant-Clark was arrested in Brenham on April 29th by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, after violently taking a purse from an elderly woman, causing her bodily injuries.  Fant-Clark plead guilty to charges of Aggravated Robbery and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

Also in the 21st District Court:

32-year-old Jesse Clark Kimble, Jr., of Brenham, had her probation revoked and was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to tampering with physical evidence—a third degree felony.  She will also have to pay a $1000 fine.

27-year-old Armando Prieto, Jr., of Brenham, was sentenced to five years in prison for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance—a second degree felony.

21-year-old Deionte Lee Stegent, of Brenham, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to four years in prison for burglary of a habitation—a second degree felony.  He will also have to pay a $500 fine and $258 restitution.

29-year-old Michael Joshua Smith, of Austin, received three years in prison for the unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon—a third degree felony.

53-year-old Clarence William Smith, Jr., of Washington, plead guilty to charges of stalking—a third degree felony—and was sentenced to two years in prison.

55-year-old Arcadio Castillo-Ruiz, of Houston, was sentenced to 10 years in prison with six years probated for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more—a third degree felony. He will also have to pay a $2,000 fine, a $60 lab fee, a $50 crime stoppers fee, and $100 for the EMS Trauma Fund.  In addition, he will have to participate in a DWI education program, perform 240 hours of community service, submit to drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment, and have an interlock device placed on his vehicle for no less than a year.

59-year-old Ronald Gene Jankowiak, of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to three years deferred adjudication probation for evading arrest/detention with a vehicle—a third degree felony.  He will also have to pay a $1,500 fine, perform 75 hours of community service restitution, and undergo drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment.

30-year-old Anthony James Rogers, of Brenham, plead guilty to two counts of delivery of marijuana of less than a quarter ounce—a Class A Misdemeanor—and was sentenced to six months in the Washington County Jail, as well as pay a $180 lab fee.

29-year-old Ashley Dawn Rine, of Brenham, was sentenced, after pleading guilty on April 19, to ten years deferred adjudication probation for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance—a second degree felony.  She will also have to pay a $50 warrant fee, a $50 crime stoppers fee, and a $180 lab fee.  In addition, she will have to participate in a drug offender education program, undergo drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment, perform 200 hours of community service restitution, and successfully complete a substance abuse felony punishment facility program.
