LEROY SCHROEDER DIES

  

A prominent Washington County businessman, civic leader and one time Washington County Commissioner has died.

LeRoy Schroeder, who founded LeRoy Schroeder Contracting in 1958, died at his home in the Gay Hill Community, Sunday.

LeRoy Schroeder, who was 87 years old, began the contracting company with his wife  When he retired left the operations of the company in the hands of his two sons, Donald and Russell Schroeder.

Schroeder served as Precinct Three County Commissioner for two terms after being elected first in 1972.
