MAYOR TATE NOTES CITY OF BRENHAM BIGGEST STORIES

  

Brenham Mayor Milton Tate believes the City of Brenham had a great year and had many accomplishment of note.

The first big accomplish of the City of Brenham was the agreement with the county on the Interlocal Agreement with the County to provide communications. 

 

 The second accomplishment noted by Mayor Tate are the renovations to the library and animal shelter.The library is currently housed at City Hall, while the renovations are in progress, and both renovations are et to commence in 2015.

 

 The third accomplishment was the Chappell Hill street program, which extends Chappell Hill Street to Stringer Street.

 

  Also on the list of items on the agenda for the city is the Brenham Main Street Historical Preservation is the installing of Wayfinding signage for the downtown area. There was a donation of $28,000 from the Brenham Main Street Historical Preservation, and there will be other fundraising in 2015 to complete the project.
