FIRE DEPARTMENT FINDS CAUSE OF SMALL ELECTRICAL FIRE

  

Just before 4:30pm on Sunday, the Brenham Fire Department found wires inside a metal light pole had been shorted out at Campbell St. and Weldon Trace. The department also found a vise grip still attached to the shorted out wires.

The citizen that had called in to the department advised that kids were around the pole throwing water on the fire. Once the Brenham Electric Department arrived, the Fire Department turned the scene over to them.
