BRENHAM FD CALLED OUT THURSDAY FOR HAZMAT CLEANUP, REPORT OF GRASS FIRE
The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Thursday.
Shortly after 9:15 a.m., units were called out to a grass fire at Highway 290 and FM 1371. They made location to find a controlled burn, so they returned to service.
Just before 11:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a hazmat call in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South. They mitigated the hazmat and cleared the scene.
