CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST SUSPECT IN ROBBERY THAT LED TO OFFICER SHOOTING

Charges have been dropped against a man accused of being involved in a robbery that led to the shooting of Bryan Police Officer Joel Bravo.

According to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, there is not enough evidence to prosecute 31-year-old Jonathan Deshawn Bradley.

Bradley was arrested on December 23rd in Grimes County on charges of aggravated robbery. His arrest followed a massive manhunt after Officer Bravo was shot during an early morning robbery at a Stripes convenience store on South College Avenue on December 22nd.

Bravo was wearing a bullet proof vest, which he credits for saving his life.

Limited information is being released since the investigation is still ongoing. However, The Eagle in College Station reports 31-year-old Rafael Antoine Ginn remains in custody on charges related to the shooting and one suspect still remains at large.
