BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO DOZEN YEARS IN PRISON
A Washington County man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges in 21st District Court.

District Judge Carson Campbell sentenced 29-year old Trenton Dewayne Howard of Old Washington to 12 years on each of three assault charges: Assault/Impeding Breath or Circulation of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction—enhanced to a First Degree Felony; Assault of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction—enhanced to a Second Degree Felony and Injury to a Child—enhanced to a Second Degree Felony.
All three charges stem from an incident May 14th in the 700 block of Gay Hill St. Police were called out to a disturbance between Howard and a woman that turned physical. An investigation revealed that a child was also injured in the incident.
Howard was also sentenced to 12 years behind bars on a charge of Riot Participation—enhanced to a Second Degree Felony for his participation in the uprising at the Washington County Jail in June. He also received a two-year sentence for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity—a State Jail Felony. He was also fined $1500.
Also sentenced in 21st District Court:
38-year old Jose Samuel Bonilla of Seabrook, placed on ten years’ probation for Theft of Property between $150,000-and-$300,000. Bonilla was also ordered to pay $226,000 in restitution and perform 350 hours of community service.
27-year old Jeremy Lester Hudgeons of Brenham was placed on five years’ probation and fined $1500 for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon—a short-barrel firearm.
54-year old Susan Ann Wilmoth of Chappell Hill was place on 10 years’ probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Wilmoth was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service. She must also have an interlock device placed on her vehicle, attend a Victim Impact Panel and Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
20-year old Terrell Andre Tolbert, Jr., of Brenham was place on three years’ probation and fined $1000 for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Tolbert was also ordered to perform 250 hours of community service.
31-year old Misty Lynne Jackson of Richards was placed on three years’ probation for Credit Card Abuse. Jackson was also fined $750 and ordered to perform 250 hours of community service.
And, 19-year old Roger Dale Williams of Brenham was placed on three years’ probation and fined $750 for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Williams was also ordered to perform 150 hours of community service and attend a drug/alcohol treatment program.
