OVER 200 CAST EARLY VOTES WEDNESDAY IN DIST. 13 RACE
Early Voting continues for the May 5 Special Election for District 13 State Representative.
According to Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel, 210 early ballots were cast Wednesday, bringing the three-day total to 545 votes cast.
Early Voting in this race, continues today, tomorrow, next Monday and Tuesday.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each of those days at the Courthouse Annex, located at 100 S. Park, Street, Brenham, just across the street from the courthouse.
Election Day is Saturday, May 5th.
There are 3 candidates on the ballot, Democrat: Cecil Webster and two Republicans: Ben Lehman and Jill Wolfskill. The winner will fill the post until the end of 2018.
Leman and Wolfskill are also involved in a runoff election, later next month, to decide the Republican candidate to face Webster in November’s general election.
