BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED FOR 911 CALLS
A Brenham woman has been taken into custody on charges of abusive 911 calls and public intoxication.
Just around midnight this (Monday) morning, Corporal Ashley Burns responded to the 200 block of Joseph Street, to reports of a disturbance. Police arrested 33-year-old Lisa Marie Burks of Brenham, who had made 24 emergency calls within six hours to the city’s 911 center.
In addition to the charges of Abusive 911 calls, Burks was also charged with Public Intoxication with Three or More Convictions. She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
