DANNY GOSS TO RUN FOR RE-ELECTION TO BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL
Brenham City Councilmember Danny Goss has announced his bid for re-election in May.

Goss filed Monday for a place on the ballot for the Ward 4 seat. Goss was first elected in 2005, and will be seeking a fifth term in office.
Goss has been a resident of Washington County for over 35 years, and of Brenham for over 25 years. A local business owner, Goss has also been active with local volunteer fire departments. He retired from Brenham’s Volunteer Fire Department in 2005, after 20 years of service.
So far, on the Brenham City Council, two candidates have filed for mayor: incumbent Milton Tate, and former mayor and Washington County Judge Dorothy Morgan. Albert Wright has filed for a full term at the Ward 2 position, after being appointed last year.
The final day to file for a spot on the ballot is February 15th. Early voting gets underway April 22nd, while Election Day is May 4th.
