UPDATE: PROGRAM MANAGEMENT ITEM REMOVED FROM WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS AGENDA
Update @ 2:15 p.m.: The agenda has since been updated, removing the ECM International Inc. agreement item.
County Judge John Durrenberger said this is because the RFQ item approved at the last meeting supersedes this one. Durrenberger said the item was "redundant", as ECM International Inc. would still have to go through the same process and the same steps as any other company submitting qualifications.
This being the case, there are now no non-routine items on the agenda for Tuesday.
Original Story @ 9:23 a.m.: Washington County Commissioners will look to deal with a brief agenda at their meeting Tuesday.
The only non-routine item on the agenda is one that was tabled from their last meeting: a program management agreement with ECM International Inc., for the Road and Bridge Facility under construction on Highway 36 North.
The item was tabled at the court’s last meeting to give County Attorney Renee Mueller time to review the agreement.
At that meeting, County Judge John Durrenberger said these services are an “immediate and critical need”, as the construction project is underway. He said the court does not have the expertise to consult with the builders or the architects at this time.
Because of the stated “immediate and critical need”, the county will be able to immediately hire the program manager and not have to go out for requests for qualifications (RFQ’s).
The RFQ item commissioners approved at the last meeting dealt specifically with program management services for future county projects that are not underway. Responses for those will be due June 3rd at 5 p.m. in the County Clerk’s Office, while the point of contact will be the County Auditor.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
