9TH ANNUAL HOG SPLASH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT SATURDAY IN SNOOK
Hospice Brazos Valley and Slovacek’s Sausage in Snook are getting ready to put on a “muddy” good time this weekend.
The 9th Annual Hog Splash Mud Volleyball tournament gets underway Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Over 40 teams, each with eight to ten players, are set to duke it out on a dirt volleyball court soaked into mud.
Dianne Lero, fund development supervisor at Hospice Brazos Valley, says all the proceeds from the event go toward the continued care of Hospice Brazos Valley’s patients.
Team registration for the event has concluded. However, Lero says there’s no reason to not come out and watch the action.
Food and refreshments will be available from 1775 Texas Pit BBQ, JLM’s Chicken and Waffles, and snow cones from Kona Ice.
