PFLAG TO HOST BRENHAM PRIDE POTLUCK PICNIC SUNDAY
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays’ (PFLAG) Brenham chapter are preparing to host the first-ever Brenham Pride event tomorrow (Sunday).
The free “potluck picnic” to celebrate LGBTQ+ acceptance will be held in the lounge at Home Sweet Farm, located at 307 South Park Street in downtown Brenham, from 4 to 7 p.m.
PFLAG Brenham is a non-profit organization formed in 2017 by those looking to foster acceptance, understanding, and love for the LGBTQ+ community.
All guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Food and beverages will be available—while they last—from LJ’s BBQ, Independence Coffee, H-E-B and Royer’s Alamo Kitchen. There will also be free soft drinks and a cash bar inside Home Sweet Farm.
In addition, there will be live music, a photo booth and banner for all guests to sign, face painting, a PFLAG information table, proud mom and dad hugs.
Sponsors for the event are Home Sweet Farm Market and Biergarten, LJ’s BBQ, Independence Coffee Company, Brenham H-E-B, and Royer’s Alamo Kitchen.
