ANTIQUE ROSE EMPORIUM HOLDING FALL FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND
The community is invited to the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence this weekend for flowers and fragrances.
The 32nd Annual Fall Festival of Roses begins tomorrow (Friday) and runs through Sunday at the emporium, at 10000 FM 50.
Guest speakers will give free presentations throughout the festival, on topics like planting and growing roses, gardening techniques, and garden favorites. The fragrance gallery will have a variety of roses to see and smell, and refreshments will be available.
Tours will also be offered of the emporium’s growing fields, and of the Peckerwood Gardens in Hempstead.
