WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS ACCEPT BIDS FOR ELEVATOR REPAIRS, FLEET FUEL

  

Washington County Commissioners accepted bids for elevator maintenance and repairs and fleet fuel at their meeting today (Tuesday).

Commissioners accepted the bid of EMR Elevator Company for $94,300, to perform repairs to the elevator in the courthouse annex, along with maintenance on the elevators in the courthouse and courthouse annex.

The court also accepted a bid from Fleetcor to provide fleet fuel for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Constables, District Attorney’s Office, EMS, environmental, and courthouse maintenance departments.

Commissioners also approved the county volunteer fire departments to purchase 100 fire paging units, ten per department, from Texas Communications for $31,849.

Also at today’s meeting, commissioners:

  • Approved the 2018-19 financial audit of the Washington County Appraisal District by Seidel Schroeder and Company.
  • Heard monthly reports from the Sheriff’s Office, EMS, E-911, Information Technology, Veterans Service Officer, and Road and Bridge department.
  • Approved a subdivision variance request for land fronting FM 50 in Precinct One.
  • Approved a subdivision variance request for land fronting Triangle Z Lane in Precinct Four.
