SPRING FORWARD: DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS SUNDAY
Daylight Saving Time hits this weekend, and that means many people will be heading to bed a little earlier tonight (Saturday).
The time change becomes official at 2 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday) morning, moving up an hour. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour before going to sleep tonight.
For many people, that means one less hour of sleep. It also means the sun will rise later in the morning, but last later into the evening.
Note that many electronic devices such as computers and cell phones will automatically adjust the time, but make sure all of your clocks are in sync.
Daylight Saving Time is observed in the Northern Hemisphere from the Second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, when “standard time” begins.
