TWO ARRESTED BY BRENHAM P.D. IN STOLEN VEHICLE
Two people have been arrested after Brenham Police caught them in a stolen vehicle.

Thursday night at 5:30, police stopped a vehicle in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 290 East, near the old Starlite Drive In Theater. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Austin.

The two occupants, 19-year old April Horn of Bastrop and 32-year old Jonathan Rutherford of Driftwood were taken into custody.
A search of the vehicle also turned up methamphetamines.
Both were taken into custody on charges of Unauthorized use of a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
They were transported to the Washington County Jail.
