LITTER OF PUPPIES AVAILABLE AT BRENHAM PET ADOPTION CENTER
MICROCHIP DRAWING STILL OPEN THROUGH FRIDAY
Brenham Animal Services (BAS) has named a mama and her five puppies as the pets of the week.
This litter and their mom were found last week near Blinn, and it appears that the mom is a Chihuahua-Terrier mix. Her puppies appear to have Jack Russell in them, too. The puppies and mom have been sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped. The six are ready to go home to their new family.
BAS is still accepting entrants into the microchip raffle through Friday. The raffle was announced to end last Friday, but did not receive enough entrants, so Brenham Animal Services still has 20 microchips to give away thanks to a donation from a Washington County resident.
To enter the raffle, email animalservices@cityofbrenham.org or call (979) 337-7351. The drawing is free to enter, and winners will be announced live on Friday, June 19th via the Brenham Pet Adoption and Care Center Facebook page. BAS asks to only enter the raffle if you are a Washington County resident but encourages everyone to microchip their pet. BAS offers microchips for only $10 to all pet owners.
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but anyone looking to adopt or foster a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com. They can also make appointments to meet a pet by calling, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page. Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
