BRENHAM PLANNING AND ZONING TO CONSIDER REZONING LAND ON PRAIRIE LEA STREET

  

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will meet virtually Monday to hear a rezoning request for land on Prairie Lea Street.

The request comes from Nathan Winkelmann and Michael Benestante, who are seeking to rezone approximately 5.08 acres of vacant property at 1303 and 1305 Prairie Lea Street, next to Silver Sage Assisted Living.

The subject tracts are currently zoned in the Industrial District, but the two wish to rezone the land into the Commercial Research and Technology District, so that they can expand the types of uses that may be permitted for future commercial development.  Staff are recommending approval of the rezoning request.

Commissioners will meet Monday afternoon at 5:15 p.m.  The public can access the meeting using the log-in information below.
