SEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Seven people pled guilty and were sentenced in District Court this week by Judge Carson Campbell.

Jaquai R. Hightower, Age 26, of Brenham, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for assault of a family member by impeding breath or circulation with a previous conviction.  Hightower was arrested by Brenham Police in October of last year after a verbal argument had turned physical.

Belina Michell Gibson, Age 44, of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 years’ probation for credit card abuse of the elderly and exploitation of the elderly.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and $133 in restitution, and perform 300 hours of community service.

William E. Maddox, Age 52, of Katy, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Boating While Intoxicated, 3rd or more offence.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, pay $300 in restitution, and serve 10 days in the County Jail.  Maddox was also convicted for making a Terroristic Threat against a Public Servant and was given time served in the Washington County Jail on that charge.

William Earl Mueller, Jr., Age 66, of Montgomery, was sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Driving while Intoxicated, 3rd or more offence.  He was also ordered to serve 30 days in the County Jail and perform 200 hours of community service.

Garrett Heath Finke, Age 28, of Beaumont, was sentenced to 21 months in state jail for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.  He was also ordered to pay $400 in restitution.

Sandra Yorek Downey, Age 64, of Brenham, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for an accident involving injury.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 50 hours of community service.

Joe Angel Perez, III, Age 26, of Brenham, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for injury to a child.  He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 75 hours of community service.
